"If you are an active or new member, and your name conflicts with a guild, than the member will be asked to pick a new name using an easy form."
The guild, or the member? If it is the later, me no like, me no like!

@Sensational - You don't have to worry. No guild shares your name :)

You'll be fine Sensational, you've been here (and you've been active) for a long time, we'll be sure to take care of you.

Aaaw (<3), but it sucks for anyone else who has to change their username. Is the system based on dates at all? If a guild was created after the user would the guild have to change it's name?

I realize that it probably won't happen all that much, but it might happen to that one person and it might suck for him or her. Not that changing your username is the end of the world or anything, but still.

Yes we will use dates... there are only a few places where both active guilds and active members conflict. In those instances we will contact people individually. But ultimately, the guild wins because it has lots of members and links that use the existing URL.
